Father’s Day is just around the corner, and what better way to show Dad how much you care than with a heartfelt homemade gift? Here at Kenmore Hills Early Learning, we believe in the power of creativity and love, and we’re excited to share some fun and easy craft ideas to help your little ones create something truly special for their dads.

Handprint and Footprint Art:

  • Footprint Golf Ball: Turn your child’s footprint into a one-of-a-kind golf ball. Paint a white circle on a large piece of paper and let your child step into it. Add details like grass, a hole, and a flag.
  • Handprint Superhero Cape: Create a superhero cape for Dad with your child’s handprints. Trace their hand onto red or blue paper, cut it out, and decorate it with glitter, stickers, or markers.

Card Creations:

  • Pop-up Card: Surprise Dad with a pop-up card featuring his favourite things. You can use construction paper, glue, and markers to create a fun and interactive card.
  • I Love You This Much Card: Measure your child’s arms and write “I love you this much” on a piece of paper. Let your child decorate the card with drawings, stickers, or their fingerprints.

Remember, the most important thing is the love and effort that goes into the gift. Encourage your child to use their imagination and have fun!
